TOWN OF GENOA REGULAR BOARD MEETING FEBRUARY 9, 2000 MEETING CAME TO ORDER AT 7:30 P.M. ATTNEDENCE: SUPERVISOR R. HARRISON CLERK K. SHIELDS BOARD MEMBERS J. MYERS R. MARSHALL K. PATCHEN L. FESSENDEN OTHERS PRESENT MIKE AND BILL HEARY, DONALD SLOCUM, HANS PECHER, DALE PARKER, GENE REYNOLDS, DON POTTER, RICHARD WELCH, CAROL DISANTO, JEFF KOPP AND JAMES BAKER. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE.
CLERKS REPORT FOR DECEMBER 1999 AND JANUARY 2000 WERE READ AND NOT APPROVED. THE BOARD WANTS TO FURTHER UNDERSTAND THIS REPORT TO THE STATE. HIGHWAY REPORT WAS GIVEN. DAVE POWERS SAID MOST OF THE TIME WAS SPEND FIGHTING SNOW AND WIND. HE HAS BEEN WORKING ON PLANS FOR THIS YEARS PROJECTS. WE HAD A MEETING SCHEDULED WITH BRUCE NATALI FROM THE COUNTY TO SEE IF HE HAD ANY BETTER IDEAS ON WHAAT TO DO SOUTH OF THE FORKS, BUT THE MEETING HAD TO BE CANCELED BECAUSE TO POOR WEATHER. IT IS RESCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEK WEAATHER PERMITTING. DAVE GAVE THE WATER REEPORT. THE BOARD APPROVED PUMP HOUSE CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE AND THE TELEPHONE TALEMATRY HAS BEEN HOOKED UP TO THE GENOA TOWER. LORIE FESSENDEN REPORTED ON THE SWIM PROGRAM. THE DIRECTOR FROM LAST YEAR CANNOT DO IT THIS YEAR. LORIE IS CHECKING OUT A NEW DIRECTOR. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR WELLS COLLEGE TO LET US KNOW IF WE CAN USE THE FACILITIES.
