On March 25, 2001 Ron attended GHA board meeting. They have three estimates on the Alarm
System. The best one being from Alarmtech Systems, LLC of Interlaken, NY 14847 for
$1,928.72. This estimate included fire and alarm system to cover the schoolhouse, barn,
and meetingroom. Ron suggested that
the Town of Genoa pay half of the cost. There is also a maintenance agreement of $18.00
each month by the GHA Association. It was agreed that the Town of Genoa pay $1,000.00.

If we were to update to a radio telemetry at all three sites there are two estimates.
One for $18,000 and one for $15,490.00, David has the information.
Dog Control
One of the questions asked by some of the approximately 12 concerned citizens of the Town
of Genoa were: Do we have any laws now? Yes we follow the County and State laws at
present. There is no leash law at present. However dogs must be contained during deer
season. Concerns were not being able
to walk on certain street in the town. There have been some children and adults harassed
by dogs. A couple citizens were not in agreement with having new dog legislation.
However the majority of the citizens at the meeting had legitimate complaints. The big
concern is the children that might be
harmed and this would be irreversible. There has been a lot of time and effort put into
the Dog Control effort and James Baker will be with us to continue at the May 9, 2001
meeting at the Genoa Fire House at 7:30pm.
Supervisors Report
There was one error on supervisors report. Need to locate the receipt. Also need to
break down adjustments to water billing. Will contact Fran Mitchell to provide
explanation & breakdown.
