Cayuga County Legislator Dale Parker was present to tell us that Senator Nozolio, Assemblymen Gary Finch, Sheriff Pickney and Himself have been working on trying to get the speed limit in the Town of Genoa lowered to 35. His suggestion is to keep writing letters. The town is welcome to use the inmates at the Cayuga County Correctional Facility to clean up any place in town that needs it. Joe Redder suggested we us this service for some of our cemeteries. Dale Parker and Richard Harrison will look into scheduling this. Dale has been elected Chairman of the County Nursing Home Project and is looking at long range plans. We also have a need for a program for people with severe behavioral problems. Anyone with any input could get in touch with of Dale. They really need cooperation from the towns.

Building and Grounds

The new alarm system is in and working at the GHA Building in King Ferry. The Town Hall Committee has met least two times a week. The committee has given this project a lot of time. John Mann Chairman, with Marilyn Mann and Kenneth Manzari, James Kopp, met with contractors. They would like to add 6 foot to length of building. The contractor will get back to them. David Powers said they could pile the old buildings up down back and burn them. Butch Manzari suggested after the building is removed that the cement slab be left for future use.

Motion to burn the building after they are knocked down and leave to the discretion of the committee as to when and how.
