A Special meeting of the Genoa Town Board was held on AUGUST 15, 2001 at the Genoa Historical Building Route 34B, King Ferry, NY 13081

John and Marilyn Mann, James Kopp, Butch Manzari, Brenda Shipman and attorney James Baker.

The purpose of this meeting was to open and consider bids for the New Town Hall. One bid was received from David Schenck of Lake Court Homes, Union Springs, NY 13160. The bid was within the proposed budget but one page of bid specifications was omitted when the bids were distributed. The bid for $148,000.00 be accepted pending the addition of the missing page of specifications.

On August 17, 2001 at 9:00 Members of the Town Hall Committee-John and Marilyn Mann, Kenneth Manzari, and Kenneth Beyea met with contractor David Schenck and Richard Harrison to discuss the effects on the bid price of the additions. David agreed that all the additions either were already in the plans or could be added at the bid price with the exception of the septic system. A telephone poll of the board on August 17, 2001 gained unanimous agreement to accept the bid.
