Supervisor Harrison has been working on some changes in Workmans Compensation Insurance for 2 years. Unfortunately all companies that handle Municipalities are underwritten by The State Insurance Fund. The Town of Genoa has had minimum claims if at all. The high cost of Workmans Compensation Insurance is because of other towns in the county with claims. This is all covered under the whole county.

We did look at the DEC Maps with Scott Bramer from Albany. These maps verify that there is an A Zone. What the A zone is that there is a flood zone along both sides of Salmon Creek. The Lake Shore is already deemed a flood zone. There are no changes in Maps.

Trish Ottley is contacting the landowners along Cats Elbow on the lakeshore and will let them know if that it is being proposed that they be removed from the ag district.

We would all like to thank the Building Committee for all the hard work to get our New Town Hall. We would also like to thank Kenton Patchen for his service as Town Councilman since January of 1975. Good job Kenton. Also thanks to Don Slocum for filling in for John Myers.

Bills were approved for December 31, 2001 Motion to approve the following bill numbers
G-210 thru G-220 $3,764.72
H-178 thru H-189 $5,467.56
