REGULAR MEETING, GENOA TOWN BOARD AUGUST 14, 2002
A Regular meeting of the Genoa Town Board was held on August 14, 2002 at the Genoa Town
Hall 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa, New York 13071.
The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M.

Clerks report for July 31,
2002
Town Clerk will is in her new office and hours are Tuesday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm,
Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Building and Grounds
Ted Rejman cleaned eves at the GHA Building. Contacted Joe Philip to paint the doors on
Town Hall Building. Butch Manzari is working on dehumidifier for the basement at Town
Hall. Landscaping is being held back because of such dry weather. Butch called Newburg
about flagpole and is still waiting
on prices.
PROGRAMS AND GRANTS
Swim program was a success this year. Thank you all for your input.
Highway Report
David and the men completed lots of chipping to local roads. Finished Clearview Road,
Powers Road and Sill Road.
Water Report
David Reeves the average water usage per day for the month of July was 98,000.7 gallons.
There is still 8-15-02 should fix a leak at the Bower Property on South Street.
Supervisors Report for July 31, 2002. The board made a motion to
accept report.

Assessment Report.
Kaye Dougherty reported that all picture of all properties in The Town of Genoa are
complete.
All data is on CD Rom. All building permits are entered in system.

H-842-H-97 for $ 43,639.85
W-075-W083 for $ 1,443.60
Total Disbursements $ 54,079.99

OLD BUSINESS:
The Genoa Town Board made the decision not to haul any more gravel to the Fire Lanes in
the town. King Ferry Fire Department would like to have the poling place moved to the
New Town Hall. 5-01-2003 will decide this. Richard Harrison would like the budget
figures for the assessment update by
the next meeting.

Following the meeting Jim Haskel of real property reviewed the procedures for upcoming
update of property values.
