NEW BUSINESS:
Lynn O'Dell from the Town of Ledyard was present to tell us about property set back
rules. He explained how buying a piece of property and not finding out where the
neighbors septic or well are located could be dangerous to the drinking water in some
cases. If your neighbor has a well dug or
septic system close to his line and you move in and dig a well or put in septic to close
to the line could become a problem. His suggestion was to have better rules for set back
on property.
OLD BUSINESS:
We will wait for another town to try the Arial Photo Program before we get into it.
The Transportation Project for 2003 will be filled out by Richard Harrison and submitted
with a check for $500.00.
