OLD BUSINESS
A letter sent to William Dugan Supervisor Town of Ledyard concerning investigative study
of sewer and water facilities for the Lakeshore properties North and South of the Village
of Aurora. This project cannot be funded or financially supported by the towns because
of its limited application but
does need to have a lead agency. Another letter was sent to Lynn O'Dell-councilman Town
of Ledyard concerning set back laws. We feel that most of these properties will be
within the Genoa-King Ferry Water District. This would eliminate the on-site- and
off-site well contamination problem. We are
proceeding with our re-evaluation project this year so it will be later in the year
before this property list is available.
NEW BUSINESS
We have a letter from the Town of Aurelius concerning the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma
and the property they have recently purchased in Aurelius. The concerns are natural gas
and other pipelines on the property that go to different areas of the state. The Town of
Genoa considered this for your
information letter and feels that they have little to do with what might happen.
Electronic gas and electric bills. For the last two months NYSEG has not billed us for
electric for two utility bills. We have not paid the bill because we have not received
them. There are no bills that we pay at this point without approval from the board. In
the past the Town Board gave the
Supervisor permission to pay utility bills when due to avoid penalty. This is no longer
true with electronic billing. We should be on track next month.
The agreement for the 2003 Scat Van contract is here to be signed. Richard Harrison has
the Town Boards permission to sign it and return.
There were no objections to Richard Harrison signing the Memorandum of Understanding with
DEC. This agreement allows the highway department to do certain repairs in the town
without getting permission from DEC each time.
Motion to adjourn at 8:25
