A Regular meeting of the Genoa Town Board was held on May 14, 2003 at the Genoa Town Hall
1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa, New York 13071.
The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M.

Water Report and Water Committee Report
The water committee gave a report on their recommendations. The upgrade to the new water
meters (300 @ 56.50 each) w/ pro reader will be $16,950.00. Neptune program 209-meter
package will be $7,000.00 totaling $23,950.00 and the Williams Law Book program for doing
the water billing will be
$2,800.00. This payment can be made over 2 years.
School Board gave an hour long review of the school budget to be voted on
June 3, 2003.
Building and Grounds
Phil Thayer has started the
basement.
Jake VanBenschoten is working on the
landscaping.
Programs and Grants
Lorie has 4 swim instructors lined up but no Director
yet.
Code Enforcement
Permits issued were Tim Driscoll, Gary Christopher, William Doeing, Mark Mead, Harry Lunt
Nuttle and Debbier Freedman
Highway Report
Supervisors Report for March 31, 2003.

OLD BUSINESS
Pertaining to the junkyard law we will review Property Maintance Code 302.8. Ward Harris
will take cars and trucks free of charge as long as the have wheels and are accessible to
get to. He will pay for washer, dryers and scrap metal.
