REGULAR MEETING, GENOA TOWN BOARD October 13, 2004
A Regular and Special meeting of the Genoa Town Board was held on October 13, 2004 at the
Genoa Town Hall 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa, New York 13071.
The Special Meeting was called to order at 7:44 P.M.
The Regular Meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M.

Special Meeting agenda:
The Genoa Town Board reviewed the Tentative Budget and made the following
changes:
Under The General Portion of the Tentative
Budget.
Youth Program was increased by $550.00 in A7301.1 and a $50.00 increase in account
A7310.4.
Under Highway Portion of the Tentative
Budget.
The largest increase was in Insurance. This was 7.57% of the total
Budget.
Motion to accept Tentative Budget as Preliminary
Budget.

Set date for Special Meeting to Accept 2005 Preliminary Budget to be held on October 21,
2005.
However this date was changed at a later date to be October 28, 2004 at 7:30 P.M.
at The Genoa Town Hall.

WATER REPORT:
Average water consumption for September was 80,000 gallons per day. NYS DOT put drainage
in from Dr. Underwood to Four Corner of RT 90 and RT 34B.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS:
Butch replaced Light
bulbs.
PROGRAMS AND GRANTS:
We are getting our repository shelving from Herbison in Syuracuse. Frank and the boys
will
start to move records from GHA Building.
CODE ENFORCEMENT:
PERMITS ISSUED:
Matt Hildreth- Pole Barn Lansing-Genoa Road, John Berry-Renovation Stewarts Corners Road,
Guy Green-Garage Addition Creek Road, Mike Franklin-renewal an additionn on 34B, and
Grayson Mitchell-Addition on Atwater Road.
INSPECTIONS:
DALCAIS-SILLS ROAD, SELLEN-RT 34, Connors-Bartnick Road, Butman-Clearview Road,
Rotach-South
Street, Bevier-Stevens Street. Brong-Oberon Bluff and Butman-Clearview Road.
COMMUNICATIONS:
Letter to Ronald Rotanch in regards to complaint on motor vehicles, grass not being cut,
and
house in disrepair. NOTE: Mr Rotanch did call and say he was addressing the problems and
was
going to submit a letter indicating such action.
Letter to Raymundo in regards to junk cars in front
yard.
Letter to McLaughlin's in regards to working W/O insurance and electrical complaint on
the
house located at 589 RT 34.
Letter to Freelove in regards to junk vehicles on property on Stewarts Corners
Road.
HIGHWAY REPORT:
Still working on new truck on rainey days. Been using it steady otherwise seems OK.
We've been working on County Line Hill Road. Dozer work is almost complete. Had
Cranbrook come in to take down the risky trees and we did the rest. Fabric and one coat
gravel
is done, still more to do. Dave and Mark worked with Barrett, locating water lines and
shut offs
in King Ferry for new storm drains. Ford 10 wheeler was sent to auction and sold for
$5,500.00.
Done more oil and sealing on North Bartnick and Oberon Drive. Also done intersections on
Lane and
Cowan Road, Creek and Weeks Road. As well as shoulders on Weeks , Creek and Mahaney.
Bailed wells
at landfill for this years testing. Hauling Cinders and receiving salt for winter mix.

Joe Philip will be contacted to paint doors.
NYS Resended that our revenues will not be decreased in our judicial system.
Board to be thinking about items for next meeting.
Town Laws, Water Laws and Junk Car Laws, etc.
