Average water consumption for November average 68,000 gallons per day. Mark passed his certification operation certificate on 12-08-04. Need the Board to ok Corthedek test in the spring for the King Ferry Tank. Price is almost $3,000.00. David will get exact price. David Reeves is looking for prices on a new truck to replace the one he has. Stuart suggested more research to be done.

WATER COMMITTEE:

Meeting on 12-7-04. Worked on water contracts. Can not find any laws on water contracts. Brenda, Karen and John are working on new water applications form for sale of property and water shut off. Will be ready after first of year. Property owners on multiple dwellings need to be changed

BUILDING AND GROUNDS:

Jake VanBenschoten will be back in the spring to do some more landscaping. Make sure we get notices for lawn mowing contracts advertised.

PROGRAMS AND GRANTS:

Lori met with Gordon Cummings, Paula Schmidt, & Peter Signor at GHA Building Reviewed agreement between Town of Genoa and GHA. Lori will give a copy to Town Board. They agreed we have to sit down and review it. NYS does mandate a job description in the 1919 law written for Town Historians. Lori will get the information and we can review it. The town takes care of certain maintenance such as snow plowing, pumping septic tank, and lights. Lori wants to have a total of what this has cost for the last few years.

The ladder will be here in 2 weeks for the repository room at The Town Hall.

Vicky Freelove called and left message stating that Walt Bond has been employed to remove vehicles. A message was left requesting that Ms. Freelove respond in writing.

HIGHWAY REPORT:

We've been ditching with the Drott. Working on its air system. It's been giving us a lot of trouble. It doesn't like the cold weather I guess. I took it to Pine Hollow Veterans Day to clean manure out of our road ditch. Matoons spreader unhooked and came down the hill, rolling over and spilling. Changed 3 driveway culverts in town and installed one on Town Line road. Graded and added gravel to some of our back roads before winter sets in. Then put plow equipment on. Mark and David have been replacing
and repairing road signs. Seems to be never ending. Al's done a little mowing and patching. Our winter duties have started slowly, that's a good thing. New pickup is waiting for filter pipe and gas cap/ Should be in soon. The auctions are about done with, maybe we should try sealed bids.
