HIGHWAY REPORT:

The men have been ditching steady on many of our roads and cleaning the ends of cross culverts as well.
We moved the ditcher to County Line Hill road for ditching and clearing brush and trees. We've made it down to the turn around by Bechtolds house. The thumb on the ditcher is like working with two machines. We gained about 20 feet of highway, replaced culverts and added gravel. Should help for this winter.
Al has been patching holes and mowing the back side of ditches where he can, now that the crops are being cleared he can get into more places.
Ordered new slide in sander for #9, 10 wheeler. After 12 winters the bottom is getting like window screen, as well as the chain and sprockers.
Ordered and received 80 feet of 60 inch pipe for Tupper Road cross culvert replacement and 60 feet of 42 inch pipe for Hill Road cross culvert replacement.
Received 300 ton of salt for this winter and should be hauling cinders next week.
Been working in the garage a little, getting the pickup wired for the sander and lights. Starting to slowly get ready for winter.
Jeff Lampman finished cutting large trees for us on Bruton Road, North Street, Maple Street and Pine Hollow.

NEW BUSINESS:

Richard Harrison explained about what the Lakeshore Sewer and Water Intermunicipal Agreement was. All they want is for The Genoa Town Board to let the Water Sewer Board petition the land owners. They are not asking for any money or additional taxes. A letter was left for approval by The Board and to be signed and mailed back.

Motion to accept the survey form to be distributed to Lakeshore owners within the Town of Genoa.

Sjana Berry talked with Herb Marshall after a meeting about the election machines that are to be in place in 2006. He feels it will more feasible to keep the machines on site rather than return them each time to a designated place at the county. There will be an extra cost to the tax payers for these machines.

Stuart Underwood will check on the inspection of the septic tank at the GHA Building and get someone to inspect it.

Scat Van last year cost $750.00. We will pay in January 2006 amount approved by Town Board in the Tentative Budget not to exceed $750.00.
