SPECIAL MEETING, GENOA TOWN BOARD
December 22, 2005

A Special meeting of the Genoa Town Board was held on December 22, 2005 at the Genoa Town Hall 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa, New York 13071. This meeting was to discuss bookkeeping situation.

The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M.

Councilman Dale Sellen
Councilman Kenneth Manzari
Councilperson Cheryl Shields
Town Clerk Karen Shields
Highway Superintendent Frank Sellen

ABSENT:

Water Controller David Reeves
Councilperson Lorie Fessenden
Water Clerk Brenda Tyrrell

OTHERS PRESENT:

Larry Spiero, and Ted Jones.

Ted Jones was present from Williams Law Book. Williams Law Book is where The Town of Genoa purchased our software for municipalities. Ted explained that he was not aware we were having so much trouble with our bookkeeping and payroll program. He had not received a call to that effect. However he did explain he would be glad to sit down with anyone including the supervisor to explain the program and have it working to the Towns satisfaction. The other alternative is to go with a program called QuickBooks. The supervisor will make the decision whether to change.
